My Story
I started the Heritage World Culture Club with my friends from football, baseball, and wrestling. We showed up early to practice, worked hard and grew a bond while competing. Hard work is easier when done with friends. And helping others with those friends is more rewarding than anything.
My own story is shaped by a mixed heritage and a family that’s always valued service, including generations serving in different branches of the U.S. military. I’m a member of the Choctaw Tribe, and my family stretches across Hawaiʻi, New York, Oklahoma, and beyond. Learning from proud cultures—Black, Puerto Rican, Italian, English, and Filipino—taught me that while our heritage is deeply personal, it also connects us to the wider world when it’s shared with respect.
We wanted our club to reflect that: welcoming, strong, and built on respect. We come together to serve our community by showing up, leading, and helping wherever it matters most.
“Rocco really cares and works hard to help out the community!”
