COMMITTEES

Music & Sound Committee

From drum circles to call-and-response chants, this team explores how rhythm and sound bring people together. Members organize music demos, lead rhythm games, and record cultural sounds for school events and online posts.

Sample Projects:

– Lead a drumming workshop at a local library

– Record ‘Sounds Around the World’ for Instagram

Sports & Games Committee

This group researches and teaches traditional games and global sports — like stickball, sepak takraw, and kabaddi. Members set up activities for culture fairs, PE collaborations, and outreach visits to youth programs.”

– Run a ‘World Games Day’ at school

– Host a mini-tournament featuring heritage sports

Media & Design Committee

Responsible for storytelling through visuals, photos, and digital media. Members create posters, videos, and social-media posts that highlight our club’s events and partners.

– Design & maintain website, social media sites, film short clips of events for social reels

– Design flyers and digital banners for upcoming fairs

Community Outreach Committee

This is the service heart of the club. Members contact partner schools, nonprofits, and community groups to organize outreach events and volunteer opportunities.”

Crafts & Culture Committee

For members who love hands-on creativity. This team leads art and craft demos inspired by global and cultural traditions — from beadwork to paper folding — and helps decorate event booths.

– Lead a hands-on craft at an outreach event

Leadership Committee

Plans schoolwide cultural fairs, organizes the calendar, and tracks volunteer hours. Members in this committee often serve as officers or event leads.
